IPL 6 Recent Updates

Manvinder Bisla after Completing his Half - Century

Statistical highlights: Manvinder Bisla records third fifty in IPL history

Kolkata Knight Riders' six-wicket win on Friday is their sixth in eleven games against Kings XI Punjab at the IPL - winning % 54.54. Here are some of the other statistical highs from the game played at the Eden Gardens.

The sequence of losses might have something to do with Eden Gardens being nowhere near as full as it usually is for a Kolkata Knight Riders match, but the still-sizeable crowd was treated to a long overdue Kolkata win on Friday (April 26) over Kings XI Punjab. Playing the lead in Kolkata's successful run chase was Manvinder Bisla, who carried his bat, scoring an unbeaten 51 from 44 balls, to seal victory by six wickets after Punjab had been restricted to 149 for 6.

Watson, Faulkner Give Royals Big Win over Sunrisers

Australian duo James Faulkner and Shane Watson combined brilliantly to take the Rajasthan Royals to a comfortable eight-wicket victory over the Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2013.In a match which looked like it could be over in a couple of hours, the Sunrisers fought back brilliantly from 29 for six to post 144 for nine from their 20 overs, thanks to an outstanding half-century from Darren Sammy, with James Faulkner picking up a five-for for the Royals.
Watson was unstoppable in the chase, ending on an unbeaten 98 from just 53 balls, to guide the Royals to 146 for two in just 17.5 overs.
The Royals built a solid base for the chase courtesy Rahul Dravid and Shane Watson, despite losing Ajinkya Rahane in the third over.
Dale Steyn dismissed Rahane, after the opener only found the toe end of the bat while trying to go for an almighty heave, with Kumar Sangakkara taking the catch behind the wicket.

MUMBAI: Mumbai Indians produced a brilliant all-round display as they romped to a crushing 58-run win over table-toppers Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Pepsi Indian Premier League (IPL).
